What happens if my sample fails quality control at the lab?

If your specimen fails quality control at Yenos Analytical (insufficient volume, insufficient total RNA, internal control miR-15b-5p out of range, or compromised specimen integrity), the laboratory will flag your result as invalid rather than report an inaccurate result. OncuraKit's customer support team will notify you by email explaining why the sample was rejected and will immediately ship a replacement collection kit to you at no charge. You will then repeat the collection process with the replacement kit. Samples can fail QC due to: too little urine collected, collection during active UTI, preservation media not added correctly, specimen exposed to extreme temperature during shipping, or a technical issue at the lab. All of these are handled with a free replacement.
