When should I NOT collect my sample?

Do not collect your OncuraKit sample if: (1) You have an active urinary tract infection (UTI) — wait until the infection has completely resolved and you have finished your antibiotic course; (2) You have a fever or are experiencing an acute illness (flu, COVID-19, significant viral or bacterial infection) — wait until fully recovered; (3) You are menstruating — blood can contaminate the specimen; wait until menstruation has ended; (4) You have had very intense exercise within the past 24 hours — wait a rest day; (5) You are pregnant — OncuraKit is contraindicated in pregnancy; (6) You are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy — these are contraindications; (7) You are currently on hormonal therapy (estrogen, testosterone, hormonal contraceptives) — this is a contraindication. Collecting at the right time ensures the most accurate result.
