What if I make a mistake during collection? Can I get a replacement kit?
If you make a collection error before sealing and mailing your specimen, contact us before shipping — do not send a compromised sample. Common collection errors include: dropping the cup (sample contamination), collecting less than 5 mL, collecting at an inappropriate time (during active UTI or illness), or failing to add the preservation media correctly. Depending on the nature of the error, we may be able to advise you on whether the sample is still usable or send a replacement collection kit. If you have already shipped the sample and the lab finds it unacceptable on quality testing, a replacement kit will be sent at no charge. Contact support@oncura.health as soon as you realize a collection error occurred.
