What if I can only collect a small amount of urine?

The minimum required volume for a valid OncuraKit analysis is approximately 5 mL (1 teaspoon). If you collect at least 5 mL, the laboratory can generally perform a valid analysis. If you collect less than 5 mL, the total RNA content may be insufficient for HL normalization, and the result may need to be flagged as insufficient and a replacement kit sent. To maximize your collection volume, make sure your bladder is reasonably full before collecting (wait at least 2 hours after your last urination). If you consistently have difficulty producing 5–10 mL, contact your physician — difficulty urinating may be a symptom that warrants its own clinical evaluation.
