How is my specimen tracked throughout the lab process?

Your specimen is tracked through a unique Specimen ID that links your identity (in OncuraKit's secure system) to the physical sample at every step. This Specimen ID is printed on your collection cup label, on your chain-of-custody form, and in your dashboard. When Yenos Analytical receives your specimen, they log the Specimen ID in their Laboratory Information System (LIS), which tracks the sample through every processing step: receipt, extraction, osmium tagging, nanopore analysis, QC review, confirmatory testing (if applicable), and report release. Your OncuraKit dashboard is updated in real-time as your specimen progresses through these stages: 'Specimen Received,' 'In Analysis,' 'Results Ready.'
