Does the lab operate on weekends?

Yenos Analytical processes specimens Monday through Friday during normal laboratory hours. Specimens that arrive on Saturday or Sunday will begin processing on the following Monday. This is why we calculate the 5–7 business day turnaround from the date of lab receipt — weekend days are not counted. If your specimen arrives at the lab on a Friday, processing begins that day, continuing Monday. If it arrives Saturday, it begins Monday. This is also one reason we advise against mailing specimens on Thursday or Friday — weekend arrival means processing delays and a total door-to-door time potentially exceeding 10 days.
