Can OncuraKit be used to monitor cancer recurrence after treatment?

OncuraKit is designed and validated for cancer screening in individuals without a current cancer diagnosis — not for treatment monitoring or recurrence surveillance in cancer patients or survivors. During and immediately after cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy), miRNA levels are dramatically altered by the treatment itself, making the standard HL threshold inapplicable. After completing treatment, there is a recovery period during which miRNA profiles normalize. If you are a cancer survivor interested in recurrence monitoring, please consult your oncologist — this is a specialized clinical application that requires different protocols than general population screening. OncuraKit does not currently offer a validated recurrence monitoring protocol.
