Which specific microRNAs does OncuraKit measure?

OncuraKit measures four microRNAs in total. Three are cancer biomarkers: miR-21-5p, miR-375-3p, and miR-141-3p. The fourth, miR-15b-5p, is an internal control that verifies the assay ran correctly but is not used for cancer detection. Each cancer biomarker is individually classified as Normal (below 1.5× HL) or Elevated (above 1.5× HL). If any cancer biomarker is elevated, a second confirmatory analysis is run on the same sample before results are reported. The three cancer markers were selected because they are the most extensively validated cancer-associated miRNAs in the published literature, each studied in over 700 independent research publications covering more than 70,000 patient and control samples.
