What does a 'Normal' result mean?

A Normal result means that all three cancer-associated miRNA markers (miR-21-5p, miR-375-3p, and miR-141-3p) were below the 1.5× Healthy Level threshold in your specimen. This indicates that your miRNA expression is within the range observed in healthy individuals — there is no detectable miRNA overexpression signal above the validated cancer threshold in this sample at this time. A Normal result is reassuring — in published studies, no healthy individual has exceeded the 1.5× HL threshold. However, a Normal result does not guarantee the complete absence of cancer — no screening test is 100% sensitive, and a very early or small cancer might not yet be producing a detectable miRNA signal. Continue with regular medical care and standard-of-care cancer screenings.
