How often should I repeat the OncuraKit test?
Yenos Analytical recommends annual screening for adults over 60 — consistent with the recommendation for other annual cancer screenings like mammography and colonoscopy intervals for average-risk adults. For people who initially test normal, annual re-testing allows monitoring over time and provides a documented baseline series of miRNA measurements. For people who have received an inconclusive result from a traditional test (PSA, mammogram), repeat OncuraKit testing may be appropriate after 3–6 months if follow-up testing does not reveal cancer, to monitor for a changing miRNA signal. For the highest-risk individuals (multiple family members with cancer, known BRCA mutations), more frequent testing may be appropriate in consultation with a physician.
