No — OncuraKit is a supplemental screening tool and is not intended to replace regular medical care, annual physical examinations, or standard-of-care cancer screenings. The test provides one piece of information — the status of three cancer-associated miRNA markers — that should be integrated into a broader picture of your health that only a physician can assemble. Standard-of-care screenings (mammography, colonoscopy, PSA, Pap smear, LDCT) have regulatory approval, established guidelines, and in some cases direct intervention capabilities (colonoscopy can both detect and remove polyps) that OncuraKit does not have. OncuraKit is most valuable as an additional tool used alongside, not instead of, established medical care.
